AEPRY has successfully completed the construction of a primary school composed of five classrooms at Kin Mon Chon village, Kalay Township, Sagaing Division, Myanmar. The project was financed by Nouvelle Planet, Switzerland. The new school building was built to replace an old wooden building which is about 35 five years old wooden hall type building.
There are 220 HH with 884 population in the village, and there are 147 students from KG to Grade VIII. The village can be reached by car and motorbike in dry season. Due to the absence of a bridge across Myitthar River it is difficult to travel to the village in raining season.
We have constructed RC building composed of five rooms, four toilets and water tank tower four water supply system. We also provided all the furniture needed for classrooms. Now the students and teachers are having class in a safe and well-protected classrooms.
