AEPRY has successfully completed the construction of a Middle School building composed of 10 classrooms at Uh Yin village, Kalay Township, Sagaing Division, Myanmar. The project was financed by Nouvelle Planet, Switzerland. The new school building was built to replace an old wooden building which is about more 35 five years old wooden hall type building.
There are 276 HH with 1485 population in the village, and there are 311 students from KG to Grade VIII. The village can be reached by car and motorbike in dry season. Due to the absence of a bridge across Myitthar River it is difficult to travel to the village in raining season.
We have constructed RC building composed of ten classrooms, eight toilets and washing place. We also provided all the furniture needed for classrooms. Now the students and teachers are having class in a safe and well-protected classrooms.
We express our sincere thanks to Nouvelle Planete and donors who made this project possible for the poor people in Myanmar.Edit
